Dear Aspirant, first of all its a great achievement to be able to earn a degree from reputed IIT. The IIT Delhi mechanical placement records are excellent. About 85%of the students were placed in mechanical branch. The highest package offered wasif 45LPA where as 9-8.5LPA was recorded as the average package and 6.5LPa was the lowest package. About 30-40 students got placement through their intership program with TATA, Jindal, Honda etc. So yes getting a job from College placements is not a tough task. Being an IIT alumni if you want to pursue higher studies you need not to give gate and can directly apply for masters of your GPA is 7+. Hope this was helpful.
So, to answer your question, the college you are talking about is IIT , which is the best college in this country, and even getting a seat in any branch in IIT is a big deal. So yes, you will definitely get jobs after passing out from IIT Delhi , with mechanical branch as well.
Almost 85-90% students got placed in reputed companies . The highest package was 45LPA and the lowest was 6LPA , in 2019. Companies like maruti , honda , Tata, Jindal are top recruiters.
So to sum this up, you can be rest assured of getting great placement from this college but only If you keep your cgpa consistently good as well.
Hope this helps you. Good luck !!

But the real fact is core companies tend to take only 20-30% percent of students
Many others get placed in software companies
The average package is around 8-10 lakhs per annum
Hope this helps you
All the best!
Dear Aspirant,
Yes definitely you will get a job from college. As it is a IIT thats for sure you will get a job from the college placements if you have that sorts of skill that the company wants. After getting jobs in placements, IITians are offered a CTC ( i.e. cost to company). So, if two students get 10 lakh ctc, it doesn't mean they will get same salary in hand at the end of month.
Also only 10–20% companies offers core job, mostly have non core profile.
Approximately 85% students get placements every year. The highest package was 45 LPA, the lowest package was 6.5 LPA and average package was approximately 8.5 to 9 LPA.
Hope it helps !!!
