MSc Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a two-year postgraduate chemistry degree programme that focuses on disease, mechanism of action, and the creation of safe, effective commercial medications. This programme focuses on the interface of chemistry, particularly synthetic organic chemistry, pharmacology, and numerous other biological specialties, where it is involved in the design, chemical synthesis, and development of pharmacological agents for the market (drugs).
Candidates who desire to apply for the course must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- A bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) from a recognised university is required.
- A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC applicants) at the graduate level.
- Candidates who are awaiting the results of their graduation-level examinations are also able to apply on a provisional basis.
- There is no upper age limit for taking this course.
According to the above given eligibility criteria there is no necessity to clear IIT JAM for any regular college. But if you want to enroll into any IIT for this course you need to clear the entrance exam of IIT JAM.
