Iit madras website showing msg regarding the undertaking form if caste certificate not available while filling application form for mtech. Can anyone tell me about undertaking and is this option available in all iits?

Regarding undertaking , you need to take out the print out of the format of the undertaking given by them on their website in which you need to write your name and your father's name in place of space . That paper you need to sign and upload. So it basically takes guarantee from you that if you are not able to show caste certificate , then you will not be considered for the seat available for that caste .
