Dear Aspirant,

ITIs are the diploma institutes which provide diplomas in the various engineering streams  like electrical, mechanical, etc.

To do ITI diploma you have to be a minimum 8th class student. Some ITIs have requirement of the 10th class. Since the eligibility is maximum 10th it does not matter if you are a science student or the arts student. The fees for these courses range from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 9,000 for ITI engineering trades. This fees might be year wise or semester wise. Hostel charges are separate.

Most of the colleges have direct admissions based on the merit list, like the percentage of your 8th or 10th. However, some states might have some different criteria.
