I'm 12th pass out student. And I will study engg for my degree.And it creates doubts such as which branch is better?core or software?

Software is a growing branch and it will benefit you in terms of salary

Only for degree???

Try and search out your intrest and than decide either you want to do engineering or not or any other Undergraduate course will help you out>?

Yes I have interest on engginering and I am very excited for studying civil engg but there are doubts. Will civil engineers are getting good placements or only placements belongs to core companies?

No they get placements but not all of them get placed but if you have intrest than you will get placed
