I'm 23 yrs old hearing handicapped (70%) girl.....I passed hs 2021 from wbcros (wb gvt) board.can I eligible for neet 2022??pls kindly tell me.. I can't understand anything....pls help

Dear aspirant hope you are doing well.

Yes, physically handicap candidate are eligible for the neet ug exam, if they meet the eligibility criteria for the entrance exam written below.

Eligibility criteria for neet ug exam are given below.

  • There is no upper limit for neet ug exam..
  • Minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years as of December 31, 2022
  • Candidate should passed the class 12th  exam from any recognised brard with physics, chemistry, biology (PCB) or (PCMB) with English is the compulsory subject.
  • Minimum aggregate marks: General category candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with 45% marks, while for SC/ST/OBC the minimum marks should be 40%
  • Reservation policy for pwd (handicap) : 3% of the reservation will be provided to the Person with Disability (PwD) candidates.

many many thanks sir..but one of sir have said me I'm not eligible for neet because I'm 70 percent hearing impaired and pwd candidate should be allowed less than 40 percent...then which statement is true??can't understand

sohini.65075 It doesn't matter how medicals handicap a person is..
If she/he meets the eligibility criteria, then she/he is eligible for the neet ug exam.

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well.Firstly  I'll list the eligibility criteria for NEET exam below for your convenience:

Qualifying exam to be eligible to write NEET:


Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.


Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.


NEET age limit: Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2021.


NEET Maximum Age Limit: The decision on the upper age limit is pending, so, all the interested candidates are provisionally eligible to apply for NEET .


NEET Eligibility Marks : The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects


UR - 50%,


OBC/SC/ST - 40%,


PWD - 45%


Maximum Number of Attempts for NEET:


There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit 2021.

So, please go through the above points carefully . It doesn't matter if you are 23 years old as there is no age limit . Apart from that if you are also fulfilling the rest of the criteria ,you're surely eligible to write NEET. If you still have further queries,please mention in the comments.

sir I'm hearing impaired 70% girl..so I'm confused the percentage of hearing if I have not eligible for neet ug xm.
one more qstn...have there any rule for unfit me after medical verification after good ranking...???I'm hh but can talk clearly as per as good. ...but percentage of hearing I'm confused

sohini.65075 No you won't be declared unfit even after getting a good rank just because of your hearing problem . And about the percentage , it will be better if you could confirm it from the authorities of your state that issue the PWD certificates.

monstwerdash thanks sir, when is the tentative date of neet ug application form fillup??? any notice would be released? when phase 1 neet 2022 application form will be relased sir...?is there any possibility to release this in February ?
