Of course, You can join engineering If you have passed PUC with good marks because PUC is considered as an intermediate course (10+2). So, you are eligible for the different level of engineering entrance examination e.g JEE-Main and Advance, state-level entrance examinations (WB-JEE, JCECE, COMEDK etc) and examinations conducted by elite private autonomic institutions like BITS-Pilani, VIT, SRM, Manipal University etc. If you are interested then go for it. .....Best of luck!
If you passed pre University Class with decent marks then you can go for IITs too.
For admission in Engineering in India, you can give JEE Mains, UPSEE, VITEEE, SRMEEE, BITSAT entrance Exams. Through these examination, You can go for various government and non goverment engineering colleges.
For Top Engineering college i.e. IIT. You must have decent marks plus decent performance in JEE Mains and Adcanced.
You can also get UP government engineering college through UPSEE, For Bihar government college, BCECE.
