If you are interested in aerospace engineering then you can surely go for Mechanical branch as per future prospects mechanical have slightly higher scope than civil in the core jobs and research so and after your ug programme u can go for masters aerospace from any foreign colleges or indian colleges .
The criteria for M.tech programme in our country through valid gate score and here are few colleges who offers that course but you should have high gate score

Yes, U can do M.Tech Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering with a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering . First, u have to qualify in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). ... Aerodynamics: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering with a valid score in GATE (explained in the admission process) in ME/CE.
