I'm a bcom graduate pursuing Company Secretaryship and preparing for LLB entrance simultaneously. Now my interest is shifting towards MBA so i wish to drop out of CS. What should i do, prepare for CAT along with LLB or take up a job , get work experience and prepare for CAT?
It seems you want to go for MBA, you are persuing company secretaryship and also preparing for LLB.
Well if you are serious about getting MBA from IIM you need really good score and great percentile in CAT.
Since you completed your B.Com you can apply for CAT and also this background is advantageous due to less competition as compared to B.Tech students.
I would recommend you to drop CS and go for work experience along with CAT preparations.
Work experience gives you added points during the admission criteria as different IIMs have different criteria for admission of candidates.
After completion of 24 months in your job, you will get 2 points per month. This will give you an advantage over other students.
