With general you mean on an overall basis including the optional and additional subjects. Well your general marks would be taken into account as far as considering your eligibilty is concerned. The criteria for appearing in CAT is as follows:
1)A candidate is eligible to appear in CAT 2019 if he/she holds a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories, need at least 45% marks
2)The degree must have been awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
I have taken the above points from official CAT website and it clearly states you are totally eligible.
Go ahead start your preparation. The exam is in November. Good Luck.
I am from general category..
