as you have written you are a bio math student so i am assuming you are having PCBM in your 12th grade so you want to pursue software engineering then i would like to suggest you to go for btech in either computer science or information technology because these two branches are on demand now a days and as you want to be a software engineering then these two branches would be best for you.

the basic eligibility criteria to apply for this you must have passed your 12th grade from an recognised board and you have secured 75% in your pcm however eligibility criteria may vary institute to institute and university to university.
