I'm a final year B.Sc student, and after graduation I want to go in teaching line. I'm quite confused what should I do either I'll pursue B .Ed degree or M. SC degree. I also wanted to apply for civil service exam, what should I choose, Can I do B .Ed ,M. Sc and UPSC studies together on
Hello,
All the three options are best on their part. Each has some merit and demerit. If you are really interested in teaching profession, then you must pursue B. Ed. and clear exams like CTET. But it will lead you as a teacher in schools. It is good option if you want to make money a little early.
If you want to pursue your studies and be a researcher, scientist, professor, etc. then you must choose MSc.
UPSC is a risk at one hand, but a golden opportunity on the other. UPSC may take time but it will lead you to a position that is a dream for many. A civil servant has immense power and reputation. But, according to some sources, it is the most difficult exam in India, so if you are ready to give your 100% for few years, then you must opt for civil services. You can also give state exams.
Handling two things simultaneously is difficult. So, give your best efforts in one field.
Hope t helps. GOOD LUCK
