Hello,
There is no relation between gender, what branch you take and what placement and package you will get.It depends more on which college you will get and where you persue any specific branch of engineering. If you want an office job then its not necessary that you will have to take CSE and IT because in IITs there are companies like Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young, and KPMG that deals in finance offers job to mechanical engineering too.So, you need to decide what actually interests you more and where your interests is.And if you will get admission in a good college then you will definitely get a good package.
Good Luck

Hello sameera,
Its totally depends on your interest that which branch is comfortable for you and for which branch your are dedicated in future .If we talk about placement then Computer science will be best . Difficulty of all branches are same .It's a myth that a particular branch is easy .If you love TECHNOLOGY and want to continue your career with softwares and coding then you should opt Cs.
If you are dedicated towards machinery then you should opt mechanics etc .
Thanks
All the very best
