Hi Para

NEET UG is set by CBSE and hence follows NCERT syllabus. So i recommend you get NCERT textbooks and study them thoroughly for a basic understanding of the topics that will he asked. You can also refer to other books like Pradeep, and S.Chand for extra information. Practice as many MCQs as possible and solve previous years papers.

Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any further queries.

Hii

For clearing NEET UG the first and foremost thing u have to do is to learn your NCERT text book thouroughly..especially biology as 98 percent of the questions in NEET is directly from the text book.

You also need to solve many problms from physics and chemistry, for which u can make use of various guides.

Moreover there is no shortcut to success other than hardworking...hope this helps you...all d bst!!

The pre-requisite requirement to understand where your preparation should begin from is a thorough understanding of NCERT textbooks. They'll be your only savior in all the three subjects.

I'll mention below the names of books you can consider referring APART FROM THE NCERT TEXTBOOKS:

(I'd like to mention again that thorough revisions of NCERT is very important before you switch to any of the below mentioned books)

PHYSICS :

1) H. C VERMA Physics, volume 1&2

2) NEET preparatory series; objective physics volume 1&2 (arihant)

3)Objective NCERT at your fingertips for NEET - Physics Paperback

5) Halliday, resnick & Walker fundamentals of physics, reference book.

CHEMISTRY :

1) A textbook of organic chemistry for AIPMT and all other medical entrance examinations : Dr. O.P Tandon

2)NEET Preparatory series; objective chemistry volume 1&2 (arihant)

3) Objective NCERT at your fingertips for NEET - Chemistry by MTG editorial board.

BIOLOGY :

1)Trueman's biology volume 1&2

2)Objective NCERT at your fingertips for NEET- biology by MTG editorial board

3) NEET preparatory series; exploring biology, volume 1&2 (arihant)

The key is to work on your concepts, since questions asked in NEET are mostly based on concepts.

Hi Para Rajan, As you said you are in 12 std...so you will be attempting NEET UG 2018, which is around 6 months from now...so you have to make your own study plan and follow it properly with dedication and PATIENCE....you have to devote most of time say 80 % in NEET preparation and 20 % in board exam preparation

Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.

BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD  so dont go by all books mentioned here and there

KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books

Biology -

Truemans Biology Vol. 1 & 2

Objective Biology by Dinesh

Pradeep Publications Biology

Physics -

Concept of physics by H C Verma

Fundamental of Physic by Pradeep

Objective physics by DC Pandey

Chemistry -

Arihant Organic Chemistry

Dinesh Chemistry Inorganic

Physical Chemistry by O P Tandon

Objective NCERT at your fingertips Chemistry by MTG

Hope this helps!....BEST OF LUCK

Hello friend! Preparing for NEET need some extra efforts apart from your boards. Later category, you can manage with  your writing skills if you studied well for NEET which is gives more emphasis on +1 &+2 NCERT. So I personally suggest you to go through state board books once or twice before examination so that you know what is expected out of you in answer sheet, apart from some factual part almost all state syllabus correlates with NCERT. Apart from that manage your time well so that you can solve sufficient MCQs.

All the best!

For bio you need to read ncert thoroughly as most of the part comes directly from it in neet

Coming to physics practice every type of question instead of reading theory from any book

For physical chem solve as many question and try to form shortcuts for solving question fast

For Inorganic chemistry try to remember exception of trends by forming pneumonics and tricks

For organic chemistry understand the concept and always understand the mechanism behind reaction

U can refer side books for ur practice but for bio read ncert.

Hope it helps...
