You do not need to do MBBS to become a microbiologist.
But if you can get a MBBS seat, then there is a a scope of doing microbiology in your postgraduate course.
Benefits of becoming microbiologist after mbbs.
- You will be a doctor licensed to do clinical practice and earn a good amount of money additionally.
- Medical microbiologist has huge scope in diagnostics business.
- You will be able to employ non medical microbiologists but you can't do vice versa.
- You will have an extra edge over what you study because you will be seeing patents at the same time.
Thank you
Hello Helan!!
Neet is only for those who wants to enter into medicine that is Mbbs, Bds. For other courses related to biology you don't need to write neet exam. You need to concentrate on your board exams and you should get a very good mark in biology so that you can get into a very good college. Some colleges have their own selection process but it depends on each college.
Thanks a lot!!!!
