Firstly an MBA can be pursued by anyone. So you can definitely pursue this course even after having a decent work experience. In fact, it is and added advantage that you have corporate exposure. Below mentioned are some more details about MBA and the scope.

- Qualifying Exam Scores: In order to pursue MBA, most colleges accept the CAT exam score as the qualifying exam. There are a host of other exams like NMAT, SNAP, XAT, MAT etc. which you can take up for some colleges. CAT is the most widely accepted examination with over 2 lakh students appearing for it.

- If you have more than 5yrs work experience you can definitely opt for a 1 year Executive MBA program which is also as prestigious as the regular MBA. Colleges like ISB Hyderabad admit students with minimum of 3 years post MBA work experience.
- Therefore you can choose the college basis your experience level and interests.

- Added to this, there are a lot of alumni out there in the industry which enhances your future growth opportunities too. All these top colleges have 100% placement record. Hence, rest assured that you will be in a good spot post MBA in terms of placement.
- Given that you have some experience, a lot of companies would shortlist your profile. Companies seek candidates with corporate exposure as they can be easily put to work with minimal training and they are well aware of the structure. This exposure helps a lot.
- Being a working professional you definitely have great opportunities in terms of placements.
An MBA with good placement is definitely possible for Working Professionals. Prepare for CAT and make it to the top B SChools.
Yes, ofcourse you will get a placement after doing MBA and the fact that you have work experience makes it more likely. But first try to get admission in a good MBA college, maintain good academics and co- curriculars and given you already have work experience, companies will be more interested in you at the time of placement.
I hope this helps.
