I'm aiming for 75% in BA Prog and want to take MA Political Science in Univ of Amsterdam. I hv 95% in Eng in 12th and yet to take IELTS. What exactly are my chances? And What are the basis on which Univ allots scholarships to International students? Thanks in advance!
Hi Aryaman
Yes, you will have to take IELTS exam as they require english proficiency test as a transcript in their eligibility criteria on their official website. Your chances of getting selected depends upon your application. It has holistic process for admitting students.
So, everything including you academics, extra cirriculars, vounteering and achievements will count in you getting selected to the university.
You need to request for scholarship while filling application or there can be another application for scholarship. Different courses have different scholarships so you need to check for the course you wish to apply for

Click on this link to find out scholarships provided to international students. You can also email the university for any assistance regarding filling application and scholarships
Hope this helps
All the best
Also is there any chance of a waiver of IELTS if my score is 95% in 12th or is it not a sufficient benchmark of English proficiency? and I checked from the Univ website. they require an IELTS score of 7.
