Dear Aspirant,
Both Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences are great medical Institutes to study in or to be part of. Both the Institutes are well established public/government colleges that have good standards and job opportunities.
MLN Medical College has a greater intake of students for the course of mbbs than that of RMLIMS, Lucknow. While the former Institute offers admission to 334 students for mbbs, the latter Institute has only an intake of 245. Furthermore, it has greater number of post graduation courses available. It has 11 MD courses as compared to 5 in RMLIMS and 6 MS courses and 2 PGD courses. Of the two colleges, MLN Medical College in Prayagraj is the older Institute and hence has a stronger base of alumni network. Furthermore, MLN Medical College has the presence of a good cafeteria which is unavailable in RMLIMS.
However, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences demands a very good rank close to 3500 in NEET for its admission. On the contrary, the NEET rank required to be part of MLN Medical College is almost double. Furthermore, in terms of fee structure, MLN MEDICAL COLLEGE charges more than that of RMLIMS.
If you still want further introspection into this matter and want to compare these colleges yourself in order to know which is better for mbbs, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

Hello!
It is a quite reputed medical college, with A++ accreditation. You will have a studios atmosphere there so that you can focus on studies and will be well mannered. It is not a ragging free college (you will have ragging there). MLN medical college is affiliated to KGMU Lucknow. Infrastructure is good but a small campus. Campus is surrounded with greenery, which will give you the piece of mind and other facilities like mall, movie theater etc.
Don't miss this college, no one can get this college easily. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was of some help.
Thank You
Hi aspirant!
If you're a resident of Lucknow choose RML. MLN is a really old and established Govt college and the faculty is really good but the city Allahabad is not worth it.The clinics are good . Hospital has a very good patient good - even patients from Saudi Arabia . In terms of studies MLN is really good and reputated college . It is considered under A++ grade among medical colleges of India . It is affiliated to KGMU LUCKNOW . It second most top college of uttar Pradesh .The environment here quite fine, you have to be disciplined to study.
But the hospital of RML is equally good. The infrastructure is much better than Allahabad . The hostels at RML would be better, better libraries . Most importantly a better environment to study. In UG you have to study most of the things on your own. Teachers are there in both the colleges to guide you but it will be your own efforts which will be counted in the end . I would not advise you to leave a city like Lucknow for a small town like Allahabad . However, if you're not from Lucknow, you can choose Allahabad . Adjusting won't be a problem for you.
