Dear Student,
Hope you're doing well.
Yes, it is absolutely a fact that for teaching in reputed institutions like IITs or NITs , you need to have studied maths in your graduation or post graduation. Or you must have experience of any sort that indicates that you have taught maths to students. I would suggest you to go for internships or home tuting or work in teaching maths in order to get experience if you haven't studied maths in your graduation. Even you can teach IITJEE Aspirants by giving home tuitions in order to gain experience. Only then you can teach in IITs or NITs. Feel free to drop any query related to this ir else. We are always ready to help you.
Hope this sorted your query.
Good Luck :)
Hi
IITs and NITs are reputed institutions obviously they take only the best . If you are going to teach maths to undergraduate students then of course you are required to possesses atleast a post graduate degree in mathematics for you to be eligible. This is a requirement for other colleges and institutions too. The eligibility criteria for MSc maths varies some ask for BSc maths, some ask for only a graduate with maths as a compulsory subject in any of the years of graduation. So you need to check for institutes that fits your educational qualifications. If you are interested you can still do MSc maths.
Hope this answers your query!
