Hello Vijay. To get admission in VIT, you can have any of PCMB/ PCB/PCM in 12th standard. If you want to apply for VIT University, I would like to put this in your notice that the admission for B.Sc. is merit based that is followed by counselling. So the admission is entirely based on the merit scored (60% or above marks) in Science subjects such as PCM/PCMB or PCB. Do let me know if you have further queries.

And for btech biotechnology/biomedical engineering what is eligibility for vit institute

Hello Vijay.For getting admission bin VIT for B.tech biotechnology/biomedical engineering, you need to sit for VITEEE conducted by VIT university, and on the basis on marks scored in that exam, you can get admission in b.tech. there is also an eligibility criteria for appearing in the exam(VITEEE) as you need to score 60%and above marks in your +2, in subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. also candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st july, 1997 are eligible for giving the exam. Exam date is still tentative but it shall probably fall in month of march. Candidates who have studied physics, chemistry amd biology are eligible for B.tech bioengineering and B.tech biotechnology programmes. Also they shall be eligible for studying biomedical engineering under ECE branch, in bioinformatics which comes under computer science and engineering. But for this you need to study mathematics as a bridge couse after joining.Hope this information was helpful. Feel free to ask further queries.
