Greetings,
Akshita ,it all depends various things . First generally when you took commerce as a stream in your 11th standard it is advisable that you take up BBA.LLB as you will be familiar with what you have already studied and it does not matter which graduation course you choose , However if you want to go for civil services or RJS then I would suggest you take BA LLB because majority of the questions which are asked in these papers are from BA course and it would be easy for you to get through them easily .
But on the other hand in this case you need to put in efforts to read a differently new course while taking BBA would be easier that you can focus on law subject more and you need to pay a little less attention because you already know the concept from your higher education (11th and 12th ) . If your motive to take law degree is to work in corporate houses then BBA is little more preferable but still you can get the same oppotunities/jobs in corporate houses even if you take up BA LLB .
So it depends on you after balancing the pros and cons of both sides that if you change you subject from Commerce to humanities , you have to work hard and pay attention to law subjects also which can be tough if you have 10 semesters to handle. Second if you still take up BA after realising all adversities then it will help you in major entrance exams related to law or civil services.
If you stick to BBA it would be easy for you to score in those subjects and pay more attention to your law subjects.
I hope this article might have helped you even after that if you are not satisfied do drop a comment or post another question and I will surely help you out .
Hi Akshita,
The main difference between BA.LLB and BBA.LLB is that BA covers arts subject with law whereas BBA covers business and management subjects with law.
Which one is better? - If you want work with management and business related field then choose BBA.LLB
But if you want to practise law the go with BA.LLB. T he individual get specialized in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions.
I hope this will help!
