Hello,
Going by the usual cliche, the most common advice given to you will be choose Science over Arts.
But, I'll differ here, the choice should be yours based entirely on your interest and long term goals. It's important when it take these decisions, you have a clarity in your mindset.
Both the above mentioned courses have their own avenues to explore.
BA English Course is inclined towards literature, writing and all the creativity aspects attached to it, and this is what you'll study as well in your program if you take admission. Career in this field will be in media, journalism, teaching. You can also try for government jobs like UPSC, State level PSC, SSC CGL or banking jobs, or after MA, you can try for JRF exam. Masters Degree definitely open more aveneues.
When it comes to BSc Maths, no denial it's a great degree to pursue, job opportunies are presented in banking and insurance companies, along with courses like CISCO, ORACLE opportunities are there in IT Sector, you can do MSc and follow the traditional path of Teaching and Research or MCA,MBA, Chartered Accountancy, Acturial Science etc
So, basically just take your decision on what drives you and interests you and your vision in long run.
Hope, this helps.
