I'm considering physiotherapy BPT as my career. I want to know the pros and cons of this course
Hello Aspirant,
I hope you are doing well.
Physiotherapy, like any other profession, has both positive and negative characteristics.
Let me start with the advantages. The greatest advantage of being a physiotherapist is that you don't need anything other than your understanding of physics principles and their impact on human tissues to cure any condition. And, for the same reason, this, in my opinion, is the future of health care.
Every day, new treatments or advancements are made in this field. If you look at the Physiotherapy growth graph, you'll notice a rapid increase in both the quality and quantity of treatments. There's a lot more to say, but for now, let's focus on the primary drawback. Because the therapy intervention and course duration are much longer than most other alternative treatments, the income will be reduced due to the lower number of interventions each day. This is one of the most significant disadvantages of physiotherapy as a profession, but it can be addressed with appropriate planning. There's a lot more, but those, in my opinion, are the most important.
