Firstly degree from IGNOU are recognised and valid all over India. The d egree secured from IGNOU is valid, recognized and well accepted in foreign countries. IGNOU is a central university recognized university under UGC. DEC and AICTE also approve the degrees from IGNOU. The distance learning mode allows students to earn a degree from their current city of residence.

And talking about BHU eligibility criteria for pg, you have to score minimum of 50% marks after graduation in 10+2+3 pattern. This includes all the subjects where passing marks are mandatory.

BHU admission 2021 for most of the PG courses is based on Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University. You are required to have a relevant graduation degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Yes, IGNOU is recognized university and its degree is valid to pursue MSc at BHU. You need not worry about legality of the degree. IGNOU degree is also valid overseas with few exceptions.
