I'm doing 12th now and going to give kvpy sx as I'm a student of pcb but I'm unable to understand that should I also study maths for kvpy sx to get AIR....???

Yes, It is necessary to prepare mathematics for KVPY SX exam. Even though you are pcb student, you need to prepare maths in order to get All India Rank.
I would like to advice you to start practicing mathematics and also practice more previous years question papers for better format understanding.
