You need to be a resident of Karnataka state if you want ti apply for kcet engineering entrance exam i.e you have produce residential certificate at the time of counselling in order to get admission in any college under kcet.

i think you are not eligible. You will be eligible for KCET if you have studied for at least 7 years in any Government institution of Karnataka and also meet the other basic eligibility criteria as set by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
