Admission Committee of Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses which is ACPUGMEC will conduct Gujarat State Counseling for 85% of the State GMC seats and Private Medical Colleges. Now Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and so you have to participate in State Counselling for admission in Private Medical College. Now there are 3 types of seats in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. So you cannot participate in the Counselling for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. So here is where you can apply for Gujarat NEET Counselling. Once NEET results have been announced and the merit list has been released ACPUGMEC, will release the online registration forms for Gujarat Counselling and that is when you should register.
