Affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Science, AFMC takes in 150 candidates for its 4.5 years of course in MBBS. In order to be a part of this institute, one must be physically and psychologically fit. In addition to your NEET scores, you will also have to attend a ToELR exam, a Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and reasoning. You may also have to face an interview. Your NEET scores will be added to your ToELR Scores and divided by 4, to obtain a score on 200. This will be further added to you sore in the interview that is evaluated upon 50. Together, this total will decide if you are eligible for AFMC. You may not have participated in sports, but if you have the strength and endurance to put you through the rigours of serving, you may have a chance.

All the best!

Dear Aspirant,

First of all congratulations that you have scored very good marks in NEET.

The cut-off of AFMC was 551 in 2018 for both boys and girls .

But in this year the whole system is changed.

This year there is ToELR which is Test of English Language Comprehension and Logical Reasoning, along with there will be a PAT psychological Assessment Test. And with that there will be a medical examination followed by an Interview.

This time the game has completely changed.

Now I explain you the things

NEET EXAM -720 MARKS

PAT + ToELR - 80 MARKS

Total marks is  800. Now this 800 will be divided by 4 that becomes 200.

The interview carrys 50 marks.

Total is 200+50 = 250 marks.

Yes, now from 250 marks you have to score maximum so that you can get admission in AFMC.

IF NEET FOLLOWS THE PREVIOUS YEAR TREND, THEN YOU WOULD GET A SEAT DEFINITELY AT AFMC.

BUT NOW YOU HAVE TO PERFORM WELL IN PAT, ToELR AND PERSONAL INTERVIEW.

Hello there Sri,

For qualifying for AFMC, you need to apply for another examination that we call ToELR, which is an online mode examination conducted by the AFMC authorities.

Now the eligiblity criteria includes -

• the candidate to be an Indian citizen

• the candidate to be unmarried and should be 17 years Atleast and not more than 22 years

• the candidate to be physically fit

• the candidate to have passed his qualifying examination (10+2 or similar) on his first attempt with the subjects Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English

• the candidate should've passed the examination with an aggregate of at least 60% in PCB

The selection will include examination marks along with a medical fitness test and an interview. Hence for qualifying for AFMC, you need to be medically fit alongside being good in studies.

All the best!

I hope this proves to be helpful.
