In state quotas, mbc is put under BC as a whole and in All India quota, obc is given. Sometimes, it is put together in general category. With a score of 311 in mbc category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in private colleges under management quotas when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 335 was required to fetch one a seat in the Tagore medical college in BC category under the state quota.
