hello sreejith Unnikrishnan ,

As your marks are avereage your chances are very low for IITs or NITs .

Therefore you can go for any state government engineering colleges .

theree are many private engineering colleges too which good ranks and placement .

Hello !Sreejith

46 marks is enough for IITs or to get call letter from PSUs.To get call letter from PSUs you need at least 850 score and to get IITs you need at least 700 score in GATE examination.Past five years trends states that for getting PSUs you require at least 70 marks and to get IITs for further studies you need at least 55 score. This year above cuttoff marks of PSUs and IITs may change with large margin as level of paper was easy on comparison of last five years. You may get NITs with this marks. Wait till IIT guwahati release score of GATE exam to know about cuttoff of IITs and PSUs.

You can ask if you have any other queries.

GOOD LUCK!
