I'm getting 53.67 marks in gate 2019 EE ST category is there any chance for getting bsnl jto and which circle should I choose for

Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering(GATE) exam is conducted yearly once to provide admissionss into post graduate courses in various prestigious institutes like IITs,NITs,IIITs etc.. and also to be taken into various jobs in Public Sector Undertakings(PSUs).One thing you should keep in mind is that we cannot predict the rank based on your score because the gate score depends on the following factors:

• The difficulty of the paper.
  
• No.of students appeared in the examination.
  

Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) is a Government owned corporation or a company in which Central or State Government have more than 51% share. Basically these Government companies run like private companies and share profits to Government. A career with PSU requires, a strong and in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of core engineering Principals. GATE is one such exam, where ones technical and general aptitude is tested. Today, more than 2000 jobs are available for a fresh graduate in engineering in major PSUs in India. The list includes IOCL BHEL , NTPC , BPCL , CEL Power Grid and likes.

All these Public sector companies recruit Engineer Trainee (ET) based on the GATE scores. Initially they would shortlist candidates based on GATE scores and then the process is followed by GD and Interview for assessment of different facets of knowledge.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is a state-owned Indian company with its headquarters situated in New Delhi.It deals with the business of providing telecom services and network management on a going-concern basis. BSNL is the largest provider of permanent telephone and broadband services with more than 60% market share in India.

It recruits the candidates for the post of JTO (Junior Telecom Officer) who are Graduate Engineers. BSNL JTO is an executive job where the vacancies for this year are 198. The interested and talented candidates can apply for the JTO posts in BSNL for the year 2019. The candidates who are willing to appear for JTO 2019 exam must have appeared for GATE exam 2019.

Eligibility:

• The candidates should have successfully completed B.E/ B.Tech or any equivalent in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ College and
• The candidates should have appeared for the2019 GATE exam.
• The candidates should have opted one paper from selected GATE paper codes of 2 disciplines i.e. Electrical (EE) & Civil (CE).
  

The candidates who are willing to apply for JTO must have their GATE registration ID which will be of 13 digits. The selection mode in BSNL JTO will be done through the GATE score 2019.

Selection Process:

The selection will be done on the declaration of the 2019 GATE exam result, circle-wise merit list that will be done on the basis of 2019 GATE scores and the number of vacancies available for 2019. No further interview or examination will be conducted from the side of BSNL for the selection process. The mere appearance of the name of the candidates in the merit list of BSNL will not guarantee any employment for the candidate. The final call letter will be issued after the completion of the entire required formalities.
