Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

Anyway,

when we go through previous data then

>>>>> With 550 marks,

You have low chance for mbbs in a govt college

For example,

in neet  2019, 577 marks for general category was the lowest marks to get a seat in  government medical college   under bihat state quota and it was for Government Medical College, Bettiah

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

But yes

You have chances for mbbs seat in private colleges under bihar state quota which are listed below with neet 2019 cut off.

  • Katihar Medical College, Katihar:- 491 marks

  • Madhubani Medical College, Madhubani:- 420 marks

  • Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Sasaram:- 441 marks

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou

Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 50784 - 57778 but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the expected marks vs ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank
According to the cut off trends the cut off for various colleges are
1. Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna - 607 marks
2. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur -596 marks
3. Government Medical College, Bettiah - 577 marks
4. Patna Medical College, Patna - 617 marks
So you have less chance to get seats in Medical College (mbbs) but you can go for private and dental college
You can visit the given link to check previous year cut offs
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar
Further you can use college predictor tool to know about the colleges you can get

Good luck
Hope it helps
