I'm giving neet this year but i will choose bsc as my backup but as the neet is postponed till September and the admissions have started, what should I do?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
That is a tough spot to be in. And iit is not just you but most of the Students who have a back up plan are facing the same dilemma. But again, this is July and NEET 2020 has been scheduled for September. Now it is true that cases have been increasing every day but vaccination prospects also have been promising. And even for NTA or MHRD to take a call, it is too early because this is still July. So at this point in time, lets consider NEET 2020 to happen as scheduled for September. Even in that case, if NEET is conducted as per the schedule, Classes might commence from November or December which means you will be done with a Semester if you choose to join B.Sc. So what we would suggest is take up admission in a Government college wherein the seat leaving formalities are much student friendly than to the Private Colleges which have stringent rules when it comes to leaving a seat before the completion of the course. That way if you secure a seat in MBBS, you can join without any hassles.
