I'm in 11th and I want to apply for Aerospace or aeronautical engineering so what should I do after 12?????....and is jee necessary??

JEE is the entrance exam to give admission in top colleges like NITs/IITs/IIITs and GFTIs. If you don't want to take admission in these colleges you can take admission in your state colleges through your state level exam.

It is recommended that you should give JEE exam to take admission in top colleges.

Below are the top exams to take admission in engineering program-

1- JEE Main

2- JEE Advanced

3- BITSAT

4- SRM

5- VIT

6- Manipal

7- Amrita

You should prefer jee for taking admission.  it would help you to find a good institute but alternatively  you can apply for state engineering  entrance exams also.
