Hey Riya

Its totally depend upon you that in which condition you can learn and study and can you handle all these or not.

i will tell you what conditions you will face and what problems you get during the coming two years.

and one thing you can not go only with school if you want to prepare for IIT.

so lets assume you choose school along with higher tution classes( jee).

so first thing you have to manage your time and health; you will have both work to do ( school and coaching )classes; you have to manage your work; you have to stay away from negative things and you will get very less time for the practice because unit tests and other assigments of the school will consume your time which will effect in your preparation for jee .

and if you choose coaching along with a non-regular school( you have to go for school only in the final exam).

Than you have to study only for coaching .

And when you do coaching your writing style and your theory writing style will become short and you will learn many short tricks and you are used to it but here you will have a lot of time to practice and learning.

and in boards if you write short tricks and answer in short language you will not get enough marks ; so you have to focus on boards for a couple of months before boards exam .

so as we compare both situations i would suggest you should go with coaching with non-regular schooling because i have experience both the situations.

but one thing you should keep in mind that if you choose this option and do very good than you can easily cop up with the boards by giving some time to boards in the last couple of months.

but if by chance or by any reason your aim diverted and you are not studying well and do not preparing than you have to face consequences in boards also.

as we know that jee is one of the toughest or you can say easiest( depend on preparation) exam of the India it needs hard work; concentration;skills ;will power;patience;knowledge etc.

so you have to study atleast 9-10 hours a day except your coaching time period.

and in between your studies you should be confident and always get motivated because it will show the effect at last .you  will get failure many times but dont loose hope try again and again.

and most important thing choose your coaching wisely with concerning fron your seniors or family because a teacher can help you to reach your destiny or he/she can put you in feet also.

and always in touch with your teacher and talk about your problems and other things .

Always clear your doubts timely dont let it gone and think that it canbe done later do your previous work and than move on.

so choose the best option which you feel that you can do better in that situation and you can handle that type of situation.

you can take experience for 1-2 months in school( i mean you can shift your school/ change the option after 1-2 months of schooling).

So i would suggest to take this decision very wiselyand with proper thinking .

my opinion: go with option two if you really wanted IIT.

Good Luck

You should apply for the coaching centers. And also you have to assign time to self studies excluding class time.

Thanks.

I would really suggest you to get yourself enrolled in any coaching institution.

The advantages of joining a coaching institute are:

Regularity (the most important thing when u r preparing for any exam).

Proper guidance (It's very important to know what to study n how to study)

Highly competitive environment (So that u can understand where u stand)

Test series provided by them will give u a good idea about the real paper

Motivation (the most important thing)

  • On the other hand schools prepare you for board exams which are quite different from competitive exams also you might not get much guidance there as you need.

But at the end nothing will lead you to success without your hard work and will power, so focus on one thing and go for it.

Hello Riya,

If your target is to get into an IIT college, then apply for a coaching institute. there are several renowned institutes providing awesome study materials. Plus if you score well in the entrance for these institutes, you get a scholarship that would also be very helpful.

And if your target is to pass the 12th with flying colours then apply for school.

Because schools prepare you to excel in the boards, whereas the Coaching centres main focus is to help you get in IITs.
