Admission in arts stream in any college is purely merit based. As there are many applicants in DU, the competition level is also high .The best you can do right now is ace your boards. Try to score above 90 at least. And if you want UPSC popular subjects like Economics and political science then aim for 95+. But yes if you have various benefits like category reservation, sports quota, freedom fighter quote etc. then your chances increase

It's Du we are talking about. It's not easy!
But what you are opting for i.e. UPSC is tougher than boards.
Hard work always pays off and scoring 90 in an arts stream isn't that difficult. Just a little bit of focus and dedication. Poof! That's the magic potion. And yeah, start reading newspapers and current affairs from today itself. Do not throw away any of your ncerts !

Oh god! It really kicks off!! So you know you can also go for DU JAT but it is for BBA and other courses. Or you know there are evening classes as well. You can also get into south campus as the colleges there have relatively low cutoff.
