I'm in gseb board english medium took pcb, to be eligible for NEET 50% score is needed, now does that mean I have to score 50 marks in physics chem and bio each subject individually? and is the practical marks added in it for the neet criteria are the practical marks considered with the theory marks for neet ?
Hey Diya !
You do not need to score 50 marks in each subject individually. Here’s how the NEET eligibility criteria work:
- Aggregate Score : You need at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined (for general category).
- Practical Marks Included : Both theory and practical marks are considered together for calculating the PCB aggregate.
- No Subject-wise Requirement : There is no rule that you must score 50% in each subject separately.
- Category Relaxation : SC/ST/OBC candidates require 40% , and PwD candidates need 45% in PCB aggregate.
Focus on scoring well across all subjects combined. Best of luck !
