The scope of psychology is very bright in near future. It's mainly required in schools as counselors or in forensic science field for lie detection and brain mapping tests. However for hospital s clinical psychologist are required. But for counseling purpose this qualification is fine

After your masters you can work in the following mentioned areas. There can be more options too as per your interest.

Counselors are required in NGOs, Old age homes, Rehabilitation Centers, Career counseling centers etc.
Clinical psychologists are in great demand, though they are not paid for the efforts they put in during their educational years. It is also required to complete your M.Phil, before you start to practice independently. You will get 30–35k after completing your M.phil.
Organizational psychologists are in great demand and they work in big MNCs and organizations. You can also work in the HR department.
Research : Both qualitative and quantitative research are promising areas and there is an increasing demand in the area. From IITs to AIIMs, all require psychologist to help them with their research. You get a good salary Package you may pursue PhD if the area interests you after this you can apply for the Professor in any Institute or College.
