Hello Aspirant,

Technically if you are not able to clear the jee mains cut offs and you have got your rank in obc category, it won't be of any use because if there are chances for you to get any branch then you will be getting a lower in a lower IIT . It is better for you take a drop and give next year attempt.

Secondly if you are not able to produce the OBC-NCL category then you won't be able to take admission in any college and your candidature will be viable to get cancelled.
