JEE Main 2020 - Details of Improvement Examination
Improvement for all subjects -If an aspirant appears for improvement in all subjects in 2020, then the highest of both the years will be considered.
Improvement for one or more subject -If the candidate appears for improvement in 2020, then the top 20 percentile of 2019 will be taken into account. The maximum marks secured in the necessary subjects will be considered to calculate the aggregate percentage in such a case.
The better scores will be considered by the exam authorities.
They have to appear in all five subjects, If it is to get into the top 20 percentile.

You can apply for Improvement exam. Which will most probably held next year. You must contact your School authority about how to further follow the procedure they will help you regarding further formalities. And while applying for JEE Mains You can select the option of appearing for improvement that won't be any problem.
