The National Eligibility cum Entrance test has different codes for different types of eligible students. Code 5 is for students studying in the first year of a degree course of 3 years with PCB and code 6  is for candidates who have passed such a course with PCB, provided they have cleared their 12th examination with PCB and English. Unfortunately, there is no code available for 2nd year students are you are advised to pass the B.Sc. course and then use code 6.
