It is difficult to predict the exact marks that you need to score to have decent chances to fetch seat in an NIT. Analyzing the previous year cut off data you need to score minimum 120-140 marks in JEE Main. SO you should aim to score 120-140 marks. The cut off is different for each NIT and branch and the cut off changes every year depending on factors like total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available etc.
