Indian Administrative Service is commonly termed as IAS. The exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year and candidates who are minimum of 21 years of age and completed their graduation or pursuing final year of graduation can appear for the exam. For becoming an IAS you have to appear in UPSC Civil Services examination . The exam is conducted in three stages – preliminary, followed by mains and interview. Candidates have to qualify each stage of examination however marks secured in mains and interview exams are only considered for selecting candidates for IAS, IPS, IFS and other allied services.

ELIGIBILITY :
Candidate must have complete their Graduation degree from any recognized University. Final year student can also apply for the exam.
Minimum age limit is 21 years and Maximum age limit is 30 years.
