I'm studying diploma in EEE can i shift to CSE in B.Tech? my preferred colleges for doing B.tech are KITS(kakatiya institute of technology and sciences), KU(Kakatiya university) and SR (in Warangal)

Yes, on the basis of stream you can shift to CSE in B.Tech as there is no such restrictions. Now it also depends that will you be starting afresh or you would enter as a lateral. If you are starting afresh then you would still have time to cope but if you are entering as a lateral do not worry just take some preparations so that you can cope up with the other students. And the choice of college it solely depends on you and what you want and what the respective college has to offer.

Definitely you can shift to b tech cse after competing your diploma in eee. Your b tech cse will be of 3 years rather than 4 years and you need to crack the particular exams for diploma students to get admission in a college and pursue b tech in cse. The eligibility for lateral entry to the B.Tech course is a 3 yeardiplomacourse with 60% marks.
