I'm sorry to hear about that. But I don't think all is lost, what is the procedure in your college if one fails a supplementary exam? Do you have to repeat the whole year and give the next year's set of university exams?

In my opinion, I think if you still want to become a doctor and still want to continue with MBBS, please go ahead. It must be hard facing a setback like this.
