Important formulas nee mains pdf
Hello candidate,
Here is the list of some of the important formulas for JEE mains examination-
1. The energy of electric dipole is given by U = – p.E.
2. The energy of a magnetic dipole is U = – μ .B C.
3. Electrostatic Force (F) = k[q1q2/r2]
4. Resistivity : ρ(T)=ρ(T0)[1+α(T−T0)]
R (T) =R (T0) [1+α (T−T0)
5. Magnetic Flux through Area dS = =→B⋅d → S= B⋅dS Cos θ
6. Gravitational force →F=G[Mm/r2]^r
7. Work Done (W) = →F⋅→S=→F →S cosθ
8. Boyle’s Law: P1V1 = P2V2 (at constant T and n)
9. Charles’s Law: V1/ T1 = V2/ T2 (at constant P and n)
10. Enthalpy: H = U + pV
11. First Law of Thermodynamics: ΔU = q + W
12. Ohm’s Law: V = RI where, R = ρ ι/a
13. Standard quadratic form-
- ax^2 + bx + c = 0
- Sum of roots = -b/a,
- Product of roots discriminate = b^2 – 4ac
- If α, β are roots then Quadratic equation is x^2 – x(α + β) + αβ = 0
- Number of terms in the expansion: (x+a)n is n+1
14. Cube roots of unity are: 1, ω, ω2|z1+z2|<=|z1|+|z2|; |z1+z2|>=|z1|-|z2|; |z1-z2|>=|z1|-|z2|
