in 10th and 12th marksheet name is md shahid and in adharcard name is Mohammad Shahid is it creating problem or not in up scholarship plz reply
Hi, hope you are doing well!
| Assuming your name on your 10th and 12th marksheet is correctly spelt. |
Here's a list of documents required for applying for the UP Scholarship:-
- Residential proof like ration card, aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license or PAN card
- Passport size photograph of the applicant
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Student ID proof
- Mark sheets of qualifying examination
- Current year fee receipt/admission letter
- Bank passbook of the student
As you can see that the Aadhaar Card is required as a residential proof, and you have other options as well to prove the correctness of your residential details like Voter Id, PAN card etc.
You can take this advice only if there's no time to get your name officially corrected on your Aadhaar Card but ideally you should get it corrected on your Aadhaar Card as soon as possible.
The steps for getting your name corrected on Aadhaar Card are as follows:
- Fill the Aadhaar correction form i.e.(https://uidai.gov.in/images/aadhaar_enrolment_correction_form_version_2.1.pdf)
- Enter the information that is correct and not the one that is mentioned in your Aadhaar.
- Get self-attested copies of proofs validating your update request.
- Submit the form along with documents.
- You need to pay a service charge of Rs.25 for each visit to the Enrolment Centre for any update or correction.
- Alternatively, you can also visit various banks to update your Aadhaar card. For example, HDFC Bank Aadhaar update allows you to make changes in your Aadhaar Card by visiting the nearest HDFC bank branch.
