Hello Nandini, As per your query i would like to tell you, As your year of birth is 2001, by the end of the year 2018 you will be 17 years old.Yes, definitely u can appear for NEET /AIIMS 2018 because as per  guidelines u should have completed 17years of age on or before 31December 2018.

And comes to your marks =for AllMS eligibility criteria

candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of aforesaid subjects and those belonging to SC, ST and OPH categories should have obtained at least 50%.

For NEET =The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination must be minimum 40% instead of 50% for General candidates.

So in case of age you are eligible for NEET and AIIMS. And if your marks fulfil eligibility criteria for NEET /AIIMS than you are  also eligible for both the Entrance.

Hope it helps

Hi Nandini,

The eligibility criteria for NEET and AIIMS in case of age is you shoul have completed 17 years as upto 31st December 2018. The minimum marks required for NEET is minimum 50% aggregate for UR and 45% for reserved category for PCB group. And that for AIIMS is 60% aggregate for UR and 50% for reserved category of Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology. So, in case of age you are eligible for both the exams. You just have to check for marks. The application form for AIIMS are released now and it will release for NEET soon.

All the best!!
