In 2019, after jossa counseling csab released seat matrix, and there were a total of 7464 vacant seats in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs for csab counseling, which was quite a very big number.
Even the popular branches like Computer Science and Electronics Engineering are vacant in prestigious NITs like NIT Warangal or NIT Delhi or NIT Calicut.
Now, this year too, there are comparable amount of vacant seats. This year as per the tentative seat matrix, there are total of 7430 seats are vacant.
But the cutoff will change accordingly to the seats. There is a chance that cutoff can be decreased fron previous years, because there are less seats.
