Correct Answer: INR 2,100


Solution : Let the number of coins of INR 2, INR 5, and INR 10 denominations be $x,2x$, and $3x$, respectively.
The total number of coins is given as 300.
⇒ $x + 2x+ 3x = 300$
⇒ $x = \frac{300}{6}= 50$
Number of INR 2 coins $=x=50$
Number of INR 5 coins $= 2x = 2 × 50 = 100$
Number of INR 10 coins $= 3x = 3 × 50 = 150$
So, the total amount = (2 × number of INR 2 coins) + (5 × number of INR 5 coins) + (10 × number of INR 10 coins) = (2 × 50) + (5 × 100) + (10 × 150) = 100 + 500 + 1500 = 2100
Hence, the correct answer is INR 2,100.
